Life is crazy....at least mine is....I started a new job teaching highschool social studies and also grade 7 Science at the Christian school here in Prince George ...I swear there are not enough hours in the days or days in the week to get all the work, sleep, and life done that I need to. I have so much respect for all the teachers I've had through the years and even more for my mom....I can't begin to imagine doing all this while trying to juggle family life as well....
The kids are great and I love having some semblance of order to my life for a change. Actually knowing where I'll be each day and seeing the same faces is wonderful. The workload is heavy and I sometimes feel like I'm struggling to stay afloat, but I think I am (although definitely not of my own strength). I'm sure when all this is over I'll look back and think, wow God you showed me so many things through these people and experiences....but today here and now is where I need to stay.
Anyway I hope you are all well. Take a minute and update me while you watch this K'naan video. I saw him perform live in Victoria with Darlene at Folkfest way back in 2005 I think it was. Great Canadian artist, originally from Somalia...definitely worth seeing live if you get the chance.
