So my last week in Australia was filled with all kinds of great stuff. We did a two day, one night guided tour of Fraser Island and had an awesome guide named Karl. We got sand everywhere and had fun swimming in lakes for a change and for once I didn't even have to sleep on the top bunk! I'll try and fill in more details later, but I'm at the airport now with 3 minutes ticking away....
After Fraser Island we drove to Noosa which is a beach town on the Sunshine Coast. We stayed in a nice guest house there and went to a market in a nearby town, lazed on the beach, hiked the Noosa National Park along the coast, went kayaking, tried surfing (sooo much fun!), and went out for a nice dinner together before we said our goodbyes to Josie.
Tonight we fly to Christchurch where I have one more week of travelling and then it's time to settle into DTS.
